3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup flaked coconut
Blend the first three ingredients. Press evenly in the bottom of an ungreased 13 by 9 by 2 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
Mix remaining ingredients; spread over hot baked layer. Bake about 20 minutes longer. While warm, spread with Orange-Lemon Icing (below).
Orange-Lemon Icing
Mix remaining 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons butter, melted, 3 tablespoons orange juice, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice until smooth and of spreading consistency.
